How long have you been doing yoga (what's your yoga journey)?
I have been doing Yoga for several years on and off at home but started doing it in a studio when Be Still first opened. I started doing yoga at Be Still as self-care. As a busy working mom of two beautiful girls, I needed to make time for myself, and yoga allows me to do just that.
What is your favorite class & why? 
My favorite class is Yin as it allows me to unwind and relax after a long day.
What is your favorite yoga pose?
My favorite yoga pose would have to be pigeon pose. It has many great benefits including a great hip opener, and lower back stretch.
What keeps you coming back to yoga?
Yoga is the one thing I get to do for myself, mentally and physically. I come to the mat for myself, and the time spent there is just for me. I get to turn off everything while I'm there and focus on me and my practice. Beth allows you a tranquil space to practice and for this I am grateful.
What would you tell someone who is considering trying yoga?
If someone was considering yoga but is nervous about doing it in a studio in front of others like I was I would stay DO IT!! It is the best thing I ever did for myself! I not only have built my self-confidence, but I have gained a tribe of people I never expected to have that surrounds me, encourages me, lifts me up when I need it most.
Share some of your hobbies, your favorite things to do, or something unique about you.
Some of my favorite things to do are camping with my husband and two daughters Emerson (8) and Kaylea (15), walks with our dog Remi, a good cup of coffee, kayaking, reading, a glass of wine while sitting on our front porch enjoying the sunset.
