Gentle Strength
This 45-minute fitness based class provides a gentle paced workout to increase muscle strength, endurance, range of motion, and improve your balance. We incorporate both strength exercises and low-impact cardio for a full body workout. Resistance bands, Pilates balls, light weights, straps, chairs will be used in this class. Indoor tennis shoes may be recommended based on your body.
Yin Yoga
This style is meditative and relaxing with a focus on lengthening the connective tissue – the tendons, fascia, and ligaments – to improve flexibility and increase circulation in the joints. Expect to hold poses for longer than usual (three to five minutes) with using the support of props (blankets, blocks, bolsters). Guided meditation may be incorporated during the final pose, savasana.
YogaFaith Yin
This class provides space and time for students to simply be still and intentionally connect to Christ - mind, body, spirit, and soul. The topics and teachings are centered on the Bible to allow students to meditate on God's word and worship through movement.
