How long have you been doing yoga (what's your yoga journey)?

I started yoga for the first time 4 years ago with a friend for a few months, and then they shut down the place I was going, so I just kind of stopped going. So, I'm kind of starting all over on my yoga journey.

What is your favorite class & why? 

My favorite class is vinyasa flow. I feel like I really work my mind, and my body in this class. I feel like these days we forget that our mental health is just as important as our physical health.

What is your favorite yoga pose?

Savasana or corpse pose is my favorite! It's almost like a little reward at the end of class where you let it all go and can just reflect.

What keeps you coming back to yoga?

I keep coming back to yoga because this is my space and my time.  I am solely focused on my body, and mind when I am here. Between work, and family sometimes I forget I am important too. 

What are your hobbies or one unique thing about yourself?

I also enjoy running outdoors, last year I completed my first 100K.

What would you tell someone who is considering trying yoga?

I would let them know to be open minded, and that you are provided a variety of modifications for poses based on different skill and flexibility levels, so it is really something anyone can do.
