How long have you been doing yoga (what's your yoga journey)?

I have been doing yoga for about 16 1/2 years. I started doing yoga by following a prenatal yoga video when I was expecting our daughter. Gentle yoga was very beneficial in providing comfort and relaxation during pregnancy.

What is your favorite class & why? 

My favorite class at Be Still Yoga is Flow. I really benefit from the full body muscle elongation and stretching as well as the gentle full body strengthening & balance.

What is your favorite yoga pose?

My favorite yoga pose is spinal twist to relieve back tension.

What would you tell someone who is considering trying yoga?

To someone who is considering yoga, I would say that stretching and gentle stability work is very helpful in decreasing pain & muscle tension and improving overall mobility and functional movement. It helps with posture and keeping fit and healthy.

Share some of your hobbies, your favorite things to do, or something unique about you.

Outside of the yoga studio, I absolutely adore spending time with my family. We enjoy many activities together. My favorite activities are having meals together, playing sports together, gardening, working on our poultry hobby farm, going to church, fishing, and exploring the outdoors!
