Share a little bit about yourself

I am a USMC veteran and have worked on the melt deck in a steel mill. I owned a small business in MA called Rusty Dreams Vintage where I sold antiques and refinished/painted furniture. I just love funky old junk! I am also obsessed with goats and am still trying to convince my husband that we need one!

How long have you been doing yoga (what's your yoga journey)?

I was taking yoga classes years ago when we lived in Massachusetts, but got lazy and fell out of the habit. I came to the one year anniversary party for Be Still where I met Beth and Drew, signed up for a membership, and have been attending classes ever since.

What is your favorite class?

I love Flow because of the core strengthening and balance.

What is your favorite yoga pose?

I love Warrior and Pyramid poses. (Still working on my Warrior three!)

What keeps you coming back to yoga?

Everyone at Be Still is so friendly and welcoming! It's exciting to see the progress I am making, getting stronger and feeling better keeps me coming back!

What would you tell someone who is considering trying yoga?

Joining Be Still was one of the best decisions I have made for my health and wellbeing. My only regret is that I waited so long. Yoga is so much more than just exercising, it's a complete change of mindset and self-love.
