About the event
Join us for a unique experience of combining restorative yoga with healing energy from Tibetan singing bowls. Joan Filla will share her knowledge and experience in using singing bowls to create waves of vibrations that will fill the body and room as Beth McGowan leads you in a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is a practice of yogic sleep that will guide you to the state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleeping. Students will try to remain awake by listening to guided meditation and moving awareness to various body sensations, emotions, or images.
Singing bowls and yoga nidra combined will allow you to let go of all your stress and worries and leave feeling blissful, peaceful, relaxed and restored with energy. Yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, and blocks will be provided to encourage restorative and personal comfort during the practice. There will be time for students to ask questions, learn more, try the singing bowls, and enjoy a cup of tea with friends.
