Join us Saturday at 10:15 AM with Beth from Be Still Yoga. This Burn Yoga class will focus on the Yin practice of Yoga.
This class is free for members and only $10 for non-members. Non-members may register via the link provided.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style that is meant to be meditative and relaxing. The focus is to lengthen the connective tissue – the tendons, fascia, and ligaments – in order to improve flexibility and increase circulation in the joints. Expect to hold poses for longer than usual (three to five minutes). This class is great to unwind after a long week or tough workouts and suitable for everyone looking to feel rejuvenated and relaxed.
In a yin style class, props are typically used (but not required) to allow you to experience yoga in passive poses for several minutes and release the need to hold any tension. Limited props will be available for members to use or if you have your own, please bring them.
