About the event

Roll ~ Release ~ Recover workshop focusing on fascia release and refueling our bodies. This workshop will leave you feeling restored both physically and mentally!

The fascia is a densely woven fabric of connective tissue within our bodies that holds us together. It wraps around every muscle, tendon, ligament, bone and organ. When the fascia becomes tight it can inhibit movement and cause pain. In this practical workshop you will learn about fascia, the role it plays within the body and a variety of fascia release techniques. We will use lacrosse balls, foam rollers, and other props to work into all of your tight spots, releasing the fascia and getting you moving freely again. In addition to the physical benefits, fascia release has a calming effect on the nervous system which will leave you feeling calm and centered. Recovery not only includes physical release but also proper refueling through nutrition, hydration, and rest. 

Each participant will receive a lacrosse ball to take home with them! Light recovery snacks will also be provided. This workshop is perfect for everyone - seasoned yogi or athlete to never tried yoga or fitness before. All are welcome!
